TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that allows you to access a lot of useful information contained in Twitter, but divided into parts that are more easily managed. You can split your TweetDeck into several columns that represent the different categories of your Tweets. By default, the program includes the following categories: All Tweets, Replies, and Direct messages. However, you can add as many categories as you want. The program also includes integrated features like a search bar, that enables you to search for followers and all tweeter users; access to Twitscoop, which reports the hot trends on Twitter and lists the top 10 keywords; access to 12 seconds, which is a an online service for video status updates; among others. The application is fully customizable and contains a limited number of settings and preferences. You can change the color scheme, and also set notifications and sounds.All in all, if you are a heavy Tweeter user and have lots of contacts, Tweetdeck can be must-have program, especially for the very useful integrated features which make it even more attractive and simple.
